Assessment Notices
Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at a regulary scheduled meeting, the Board of Trustees of Reclamation District 341, Sherman Island, approved the levy of Assessment No. 26 under the Operation and Mainteance Valuation Assessment Roll, approved by the the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors on December 3, 1996. The Purpose of Operation and Maintenance Assessment No. 26 is to provide funds for the retirement of current District debt; for the maintenance, repair, and operation of the District's reclamation works; for the payment of incidental expenses; for construction of supplemental works; or for replacement of existing reclamation works, when in the opinion of the Board such supplemental or replacement works are necessary to carry out the original or any supplemental reclamation plan.
Assessment No. 26 is payable to Reclamation District No 341 and is due on July 11, 2023, this being the date on which the District's supplement for completion of the Operations and Maintenance Valuation Assessment Roll was filed with the County Treasurer as required by law.

This assessment levy is a lien on the land or interest in real property on which it is levied. Any assessment on any parcel of land or interest in real property as set forth in the Operations and Maintenance Valuation Assessment Roll, which is unpaid on September 12, 2023, this being the sixtieth day after the assessment became due, shall be delinquent and shall bear interest from the date of delinquency at the rate of one and one have percent (1 1/2%) per month, and a penalty of ten (10) percent of the assessment amount will be added thereto and collected for the use of the District.
The amount of funds to be raised for the next fiscal year for the purposes of the District is approximately $752,961.90. The assessment formula and methodology are set forth in the Assessment Report and revised Operation and Maintenance Valuation Assessment Roll, dated October 1996, which was approved by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors on December 3, 1996. The lands and other real property interests within the District have been assessed in proportion to the special benefits provided to the real property by the District. The Assessment Report is available upon request from the District. The assessment rate is $18.00 per each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation per year, and this rate remains the same for Assessment No. 26.
